To my dear family and friends, colleagues and acquaintances, I would like to extend an invitation to Superwalk 2023! I’ve been personally touched by the challenges of Parkinson’s disease. It has been 27 years since diagnosis and I couldn't have gotten this far without your past support. I turn 70 this August and I would like to celebrate by walking on Sept.9th with you on team TOUHEY'S TRAVELERS, or for you, at Riverside Park in support of PSBC. Though I am shakier, slower, sleepier, stiffer and stumble now and then, I am thankful that I can celebrate with you.... I still have a lot of life to live!
All contributions, no matter how big or how small, are critical to those affected by Parkinson's. I hope you’ll support my walk this year and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Parkinson's disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and can manifest itself in a range of both motor and non-motor symptoms. Living with Parkinson's can be incredibly challenging for the individual as well as for their family, friends, and care partners. Currently, there is no cure.

Thank you! Sue Touhey
I will also be walking in memory of cousins Lilian Brown and Glada McIntyre who also battled PD and have since passed away.
