I’ve been personally touched by the challenges of Parkinson’s disease by watching my dad deal with it.
The disease has taken some of his favourite activities from him but it doesn’t seem to dent his spirit and determination. He’s truly an inspiration.
This weekend my family and I are participating in the local walk for Parkinson’s, here in Parksville at Rathtrevor beach.
This is the part where I ask for your help…thanks for anything you can give to help fight this disease.
Parkinson's disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and can manifest itself in a range of both motor and non-motor symptoms.
Living with Parkinson's can be incredibly challenging for the individual as well as for their family, friends, and carepartners. Currently, there is no cure.
Your donation will help Parkinson Society British Columbia continue to provide valuable programs, services, advocacy efforts, and research contributions.
Every dollar is one step closer to improving the lives of those in need.
Please support me. Thank you!
