At the moment, 25 Canadians are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease every day. That is more than one per hour. The rate of incidence is expected to double by 2031.
Parkinson’s Canada Superwalk will take place this September 7th. It is an annual event that raises money for Parkinson’s support, advocacy and research. Please come and walk with us on September 7 in City Park, not far from the dolphins.
As you all know I’ve been personally touched by the challenges of Parkinson’s disease. I have lived with PD for over 26 years and as time passes, the challenges have been more demanding.
Your donation fuels better health outcomes for Canadians living with Parkinson’s disease today, and it supports Parkinson Canada research program which works with Canada’s brightest researchers to find the next big breakthrough in treatment.
All contributions, no matter how big or how small, are critical to those affected by Parkinson’s. I hope you’ll support my walk this year and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Please support me. Thank you! Vreni Morel
