Hello My Friends and Family,
Here we are again just a few days away from this years Parkinson's Superwalk in Vernon. Colin has had a challenging year as his symptons of his disease continue to progress but he goes to the gym with other people with Parkinson's twice a week and continues to walk the dog a couple times a day.
We hope more friends and family will join our team and come to walk with us on Sept 7th at Polson Park 9:30 - 10AM.
All contributions, no matter how big or how small, are critical to those affected by Parkinson’s. I hope you’ll support our walk this year and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Parkinson’s disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and can manifest itself in a range of both motor and non-motor symptoms. Living with Parkinson’s can be incredibly challenging for the individual as well as their family, friends and carepartners. Currently, there is no cure.
Your donation will help Parkinson Society British Columbia continue to provide valuable programs, services, advocacy efforts and research contributions.
Every dollar is one step closer to improving the lives of those in need.
Please support me. Thank you! Lois Hales
