I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease last December and since then I have used the programs and services of Parkinson Society British Columbia several times, they have been incredibly helpful to me during my journey.
I am asking you to support them by making a contribution as I participate in the 2019 Superwalk.
Because Peter and I will be away during the weekend the Walk takes place I will be walking 5km on the deck of the Island Princess as it cruises Glacier Bay, Alaska, There will be no cheating but there may be a celebratory glass of wine afterwards.
Please support me and others with Parkinson's, and those who support us.
All contributions, no matter how big or how small, are critical to those affected by Parkinson’s. I hope you’ll support my walk this year and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Parkinson’s disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and can manifest itself in a range of both motor and non-motor symptoms. Living with Parkinson’s can be incredibly challenging for the individual as well as their family, friends and carepartners. Currently, there is no cure.
Your donation will help Parkinson Society British Columbia continue to provide valuable programs, services, advocacy efforts and research contributions.
Every dollar is one step closer to improving the lives of those in need.
