Hello Friends and family,
As you all know I have been personally touched by the challenges of Parkinson’s disease.
It is time for the Parkinson’s Society annual Super Walk, a fundraiser to help fund ongoing and future research towards finding a cure and /or working towards finding increased treatment options. This year, due to Covid, the walk will be virtual as it was last year. We may end up doing a limited outdoor walk. For those interested in a walk will keep you posted.
All contributions, no matter how big or how small, are critical to those affected by Parkinson’s. I hope you’ll support my walk this year and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Parkinson’s disease is the second-most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's and can manifest itself in a range of both motor and non-motor symptoms. Living with Parkinson’s can be incredibly challenging for the individual as well as their family, friends and care-partners. Currently, there is no cure.
Your donation will help Parkinson Society British Columbia continue to provide valuable programs, services, advocacy efforts and research contributions.
Every dollar is one step closer to improving the lives of those in need.
Please support me. Thank you!
