Welcome to the page for Team PD Avengers! We are a small but mighty group of People with Parkinson’s, care partners, families and friends affected by Parkinson’s. The team is led by the Gifford family, peopled by some of the amazing folks in the Parkinson’s community we have the privilege to know and call friends here in BC, and inspired by all the PD Avengers thinking globally and acting locally around the world.

It’s exciting to be able to participate in the Superwalk in-person again this year. We are grateful for all your donations to support programming, services and advocacy for People with Parkinson’s and their loved ones in British Columbia and beyond.

Here’s more about why your donation is important: More than 15,000 British Columbians have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and the worldwide incidence is expected to double by 2040. The need is greater than ever to ensure those affected by the disease are getting the care they need and deserve. Our collective efforts can make a real difference.
