Hello friends. It has been five years since my Parkinson's diagnosis. Since then, I've journeyed through denial of the incurable, degenerative brain condition to acceptance, and advocacy to global voice for Parkinson's.
Parkinson's is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world.
The number of people with Parkinson's doubled 1990-2015, and will double again by 2040.

The PD Avengers believe every person with Parkinson’s should have equitable access to information, medication and therapies. We believe we must build a loud, uncomfortable, ever-present voice demanding change in how the disease is seen and treated. We believe patients are integral in every aspect of research in the search for better treatments and ending Parkinson’s.
There are more than 40 different symptoms of Parkinson's from rigidity and loss of smell to bladder issues and depression. I started showing symptoms as many as 10 years prior to being diagnosed.
